This will set up a treatment facility in the city of Al Dhakira, northeast of capital Doha, which can treat up to 56,000 tonnes of wastewater per day by 2018. The project comprises Sewage infrastructure with a daily average flow of 56,200 m3 /day. Sewage transmission mains will comprise 21 km of twin rising mains and approximately 11 km of twin rising mains.
The project entails construction of five potable water mega reservoirs sites and interconnecting network of large diameter water pipelines. Each reservoirs site will ultimately comprise up to nine reservoirs, each of which will be the largest of their type in the world
